Sorry For The Backlog!
We recently went on vacation to Ceder Point and our laptop broke during the trip. This left us without a way to approve articles and showcase them on our Facebook and Twitter feed. We are back now and clearing out the backlog.

I was doing a bit of shopping on Amazon the other day and came to the realization that ereaders have gone from the fringe to virtually mainstream in just a few short years. And as the adoption rate grows, so does the demand for quality Christian books to be used on them.

(Authors Note: This is a reprint of the recently published page to help the authors at the Christian Articles Resource better promote their articles. If you have any other helpful tips, please share them with us in the comments.)
Promoting Christian articles can be a daunting process for many, but it doesn’t have to be.
Here are a few ways to make sure you are getting the most mileage out of the
articles that you write.
Tip #1 – Have a website.
Many new authors skip this step in the beginning and end up struggling because
of it. You need a central location for people to find you online. There are some
great free resources out there, but to have the most impact purchasing a domain
and webhosting is required. Here are a few resources to get you going.
Free Resources
Blogger.com – Simple free blogging service.
WordPress.com – A Free blogging service that uses the wildly popular wordpress blogging software.
Paid Resources
Domain names
Namecheap.com
Godaddy.com
Web Hosting
Hostgator.com
Bluehost.com
Tip #2 – Link each article to your website via your author’s resource box.
The article resource box is your main source of promoting your work, and for many,
the main reason to use an article directory to begin with. Anyone that republishes
your article has to keep this box intact, so your visibility will increase.
Tip #3 – Use the tag box in your articles.
The tag box makes it easier for people searching our site to find content that
is relevant to them. It will also make your article more easily found in search
engine rankings.
Tip #4 – Utilize Facebook.
Facebook has become an almost essential way to communicate with family and
friends. Create a fan page based on your website and direct link each article
that you write on it. Encourage others to like your posts.
Tip #5 – Utilize Twitter.
Twitter is another way to easily keep in touch with others. For authors, it is a
great way to keep people up to date when you write something new. (I realize
that a lot of people get frustrated with Twitter after a while due to the time it
takes to follow and unfollow others.) I used to be frustrated too until I found a
sweet little tool called Tweet Attacks.
It’s a great timesaver that automates the follow and unfollow process, and I highly recommend it.
Tip #6 – Utilize social bookmarking.
Social bookmarking is another great way to get your articles out for others to find.
The easiest way to do this is to simply click on the “+share” button on the toolbar at the
bottom of the site after going to your published article. From there just sign in
to each of the sites listed and submit your articles to them.
