  • Jesus in the Bedroom (a love story…sort of)  By : Glenn Washburn

  • MARRIAGE: Caring Enough To Listen=Communication (Part II)  By : DeBorrah K. Ogans
Do not seek out someone to support you when you are wrong. This is one of the biggest problems in relationships. There are too many people who are willing to support wrong. This may give you some immediate self gratification. But in the long wrong it really just weakens you and will eventually erode the moral fibers of your relationship. You really are being the bigger person to simply just admit when you are wrong. It is not always an issue of right or wrong. Sometimes you just do not agree. Sometimes you just feel quite strongly about something. But it has not manifested in a way that you can explain it or define it.
  • MARRIAGE: Caring Enough To Listen=Communication (Part I)  By : DeBorrah K. Ogans
Marriage was not meant to seem like a sentence. It was not meant to be full of on going drudgery. Nor was it meant to neither suffocate, smother, nor repress each others unique individuality. It was made so the realization of “two becoming one flesh” could be realized. It was meant to help mature and grow a man/woman in a husband/wife relationship. To learn how to love, submit, commit, respect, and learn together what it means to work through and out of difficulties as well as enjoy great experiences within the confines of a committed relationship. Having healthy good communication is an important component within a good marriage.

  • God hates Divorce!  By : Shaila D Touchton
God’s plan for a married couple to stay married as long as both spouses are alive. Each and every divorce is a result of sin, either on the part of one spouse or both spouses. The Bible gives only two reasons in which divorce is permitted: the first is in the case of abandonment of a Christian by an unbelieving spouse. A person who gets a divorce for a reason other than the reasons listed above, and then gets remarried – that person has committed adultery. It is distressing that the divorce rate among professing Christians is nearly as high as that of the unbelieving world

Janice and Meryl were married on a beautiful, clear, afternoon in late June. The wedding and reception was perfect in every way. Many of their guests commented on the tender devotion that each displayed toward the other. No one could have convinced anyone at that moment that they would not live happily ever after.

Meryl had made plans for a wonderful honeymoon in the Bahamas. It was beautiful. Meryl was so thoughtful and tender. Janice was deliriously happy and knew that she had made a wise cho
  • THE 3 ESSENTIAL C’s OF MARRIAGE  By : Willetta Pilcher
Marriage is not a trial and error event. It was meant by God to be permanent and just as the wedding vows state, it is not something to enter into inadvisably. Marriage requires commitment. It is intended to be for better or for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health.
  • SUBMIT ONE TO ANOTHER  By : Willetta Pilcher
Ephesians 5: 21-22 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Submit means to 'To yield or surrender (oneself) to the will or authority of another.' The very term, 'submit,' seems to raise our hackles. We want to be our 'own person' and in total control of our 'own' decisions. And, yet, we submit all the time. We submit to the laws of the land. We submit to the demands of work, the boss, school attendance,...
  • HEART HUNGER  By : Willetta Pilcher
Erica sang mechanically. Sometimes she wondered why she even made the effort. There wasn't a song in her heart.

Her mind whirled as she thought of the argument that she and Josh had had that morning. It was only one of many that continuously flared between them. Arguments over things that had no eternal significance. What difference did it make if a little water got on the floor from her shower? Josh was just so picky!
