The Consumerization of the Gospel
By :
ReturningKing.com
The great falling away is further demonstrated in scripture by what can best be understood as a “consumerization” of the gospel. A further indication of a future apostasy is noted in 2 Timothy. In this text, Paul does not specify a specific apostasy which will precede the tribulation, but he does note a later time in which men will refuse sound doctrine. And, as will be demonstrated, his teaching clearly articulates the very same elements of apostasia as were noted earlier.
Sowing the Right Seeds (5th in Sowing Series)
By :
Sylvia Huffnagle
In teaching Christians how to live, it is far more powerful and effective to teach not from the angle of what do Christians stand to benefit, though that part should not be excluded, but from the angle of us being servants of the Lord.

Strangers in the Sanctuary (Ezek:44) (9th in Church Series)
By :
Sylvia Huffnagle
Pertaining to sanctuary--it is a place where believers can rest from dealing with the pressures of the world and enjoy the kingdom of God together. There is no place in church for ungodly behavior, speech, or dress. I’m not talking about rules here, I’m talking about one body and one Spirit.

The Prophet of the Five-fold Ministry (16th in Church Series)
By :
Sylvia Huffnagle
There should be at least one kidney in the local body of Christ. I think prophets are kidneys. Sometimes prophesy comes by tongues and interpretation, but I’m talking about a gift certain people have whereby they care greatly about the condition of the body and are motivated to see that it is cleaned up and kept clean. They get their information and inspiration from God--the Holy Spirit and the Holy Bible.

Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. 11: And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
WHAT IS THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE?
By :
Willetta Pilcher
We hear a lot in some circle about how The Church NEEDS to get back to basics and Christians need to start LIVING like Christians.
There are those in the church world today that teach and preach a “feel-good” message. Everyone from political arena to the church world is calling for CHANGE which suggests to me that people as a whole are “sick” of the whole mess the world has turned into. What needs to change and how do we change it?
Is it methods, message, music, programs?

An Encouraging Word
By :
Glenn Washburn
During worship one Sunday I heard something that unexpectedly lifted my spirits and gave a healing touch to my body and soul. Like a soft harp in an empty cathedral or distant children’s laughter or a bird’s song at twilight: it was the sound of a women’s voice raised in worship. It was neither slick nor professional. Rather, it was simple, pure and beautiful. Like a child singing a new song she had learned for her father.

A RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE
By :
Willetta Pilcher
Righteousness has gotten a bum rap! For this reason... righteousness is generally acquainted with self-righteousness in the minds of many. They’ve been burnt by self-righteous behavior and they want nothing to do with it. And who can blame them.
Righteousness is characterized by justice or fairness and impartiality toward those involved. It is to be holy... not holier than thou but holy in action, word, and thought.
Christian Fellowship Is All About Relationships Within The Body Of Christ
By :
Pastor Reinhard Westphal
Christian fellowship within the context of the church means identification with the Body of Christ. Identification with the Body of Christ is all about relationships with other believers.
