Repentance is a fundamental part of God's requirements of man.to forgivesin. How do you restore a relationship or harmony with someone who refuses to accept they wronged you? In a relationship where one person won't accept they wronged the other, you cannot have harmony because of this basic disagreement itself. While God requires us to unconditionally forgive the business partner who cheats us if he repents , He does not require us to stay in business with him. We can forgive someone without being reunited with that person. Repentance and remorse are necessary to receive forgiveness. But if we want to build a broken relationship with other people or with God, repentance is necessary. Before one will change his life, he must decide to change/repent from past behavior which has caused the victim to hurt. Before he decides to change or repent, he must recognize that he has been guilty. As long as a person defends his practice and refuses to admit error, he has not repented. FRIEND OF GOD?
