YOU are important. You’re important to the work of God and to all others in the body of Christ. God wants you to see yourself as He sees you rather than through your own natural eyes or your own thoughts. HE has a plan that’s perfect for you. Only YOU can do what He has ordained that you should do. You may have felt that you’re so different than others that you will never fit anywhere on this earth, but that is not true. He has a place for you. YOU may have listened to others and thought that what they said was true. It’s not. Only what God says is really important. WE are told in the Scriptures to not think of ourselves more highly than we ought, but to think soberly. We are to see ourselves as He sees us, ones who are loved and accepted. WE are also told to touch not His anointed. With the anointing that is on you, that means that you are not to think of yourself as no good. WE have all sinned and come short of the glory of God; however, we do not need to “stay there.” Once we come to Christ Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins, we are forgiven and made righteous again. We can do this throughout our days as we become sensitive to the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us, and are willing to turn to Him. HE wants you to know and understand who you are in Him. He is in you, if you have invited Jesus to come into your life to be your Lord and Savior. You are then becoming more like Him day by day; that is, if you have purposed in your heart to allow this to be done in you. As you look to the greater One within your heart, being God-inside-minded, you will be amazed at how your life is directed by Him. As you stay in prayer and in the Word of God, you will grow in your understanding and knowledge of who He is and what He has for you to do. If you have not been doing that, it is time for you to start, or to start again. Make a commitment to Jesus today to pray daily and to read His Word daily as well, doing whatever it is you understand in it to do, praying also for understanding of His Word. You will grow by leaps and bounds as you do this. Everyone around you will change as you live for Him. You’re not doing it for them, however, but for Him. He died for you. Won’t you live for Him?
