Jas: 5:2: Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Rev: 3:4: Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. Rev: 16:15: Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. (If you put off the put off list and put on the put on list you will succeed at being a Christian, at overcoming, at pleasing the Father, and in life in general.) Put off: Eph: 4:22: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; Eph: 4:25: Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Col: 2:11: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Col: 3:8-9: But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9: Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; Put on: Isa: 52:1 1: Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. Mt: 22:12: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. (Jesus is the wedding garment. Refer to Rom 13:14) Rom: 13:12: The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Rom: 13:14: But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. Gal: 3:27: For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Eph: 4:24: And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Eph: 6: 11-18: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14: Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16: Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17: And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Col: 3:10: And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Col: 3:12: Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Col: 3:14: And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. Col: 3:8: But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Col: 3:9: Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 1Thess: 5:8: But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
