Romans 10:14-15 says, “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” I really want to encourage all of you to keep blogging. I know it’s hard and we don’t get a whole lot of recognition for doing it, but it is important! We are the light and salt of the earth, bringing hope and encouragement to a lost world. We are different than everyone else – and it shows. That’s why it is so important to keep blogging. The other day I was going down my friends list, visiting a few blogs that I hadn’t been to for a while, and I was really disappointed to find out that a lot of powerful writers had stopped blogging. They just quit! With no forwarding URL, they are gone from the blogosphere. Their potential to help someone, who just happens upon their blog, is gone forever, too. People happen across my blog all the time. I get a ton of hits on my site from people searching for dragonfly pictures! These people randomly find my blog on Google, and I inadvertently minister to them through posts that talk about Christian faith. So keep writing! Post what God is laying on your heart, and tackle some hard Christian topics! It’s not about how many comments you receive or how many people visit your blog. It’s about the anointing that God gives those who write and having the pen of a ready writer. Psalm 45:1
