Parents are not in this world for their own desires to be fulfilled, but to fulfill Gods desire, to teach their children to serve God and have a Godly Path. Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Our children will not always have us around to guide their decisions. We must instill in them the understanding and habit of doing right, so they will serve God when they make their own decisions Psalms 34:11 - Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. To accomplish this, we must give our children many things money cannot buy: time, love, instruction in God's word, guidance in dealing with life's problems, an example of godliness, and training in moral purity. Joshua 24:15 - Joshua declared, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." We should keep this goal constantly before us. With each decision we should ask, "What effect will this have on my child's eternal destiny?" Today it has become commonplace to have Internet access from the home. There are some free Internet Filtering Software and Parental Controls to help protect children online. http://www.scrubit.com/ http://www.freewarefiles.com/search.php http://www.opendns.com/ http://www.wraac.org/ http://pclapeer.com/protect_kids.htm http://www.freeshield.com/ http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/B-Gone-Download-28022.html http://www.akidthaine.com/ http://www.safefamilies.org/download.php http://www1.k9webprotection.com/ One more thing is to turn on safe Google search in the preferences option.
