The bible told us about the quality, The bigness of a merciful and a Kind God we serve, but when we go through some challenging and uncomfortable situations, we can not help but ask questions, But God why me or why did you allow this??? I remembered a lady telling me a story about the pain she had been through in her life time, she said to me, sometimes as a believer she wondered if there really is a God up there! She was honest and open about it, she did not pretend like many of us that are not sure about something we pretend as if all is well. Trials and tribulations are for our benefits! Before you judge me I will clarify myself! I believe God did not deliberately send us troubles, but He permits it so that we will be tested and ready for His blessings. Now, I am not saying God is looking for people to punish so that he can bless them, but I also know, God will test us in a way that is not comfortable to our flesh, so that He can lift us to the next level in life. If we endure the test, our character and patience will be strengthened and we will be closer more to Him. Lamentation2:1-22. Flesh and the spirit are always in conflict, this I notice something in me! “What my flesh asked for sometimes can not be compare to the righteousness of God, it’s is “selfishness and greediness” I had to go to God daily for strength if not, “I don’t think I can never make it by own strength, I am always at war in my spirit. Going through a tough time will teach us humility, wisdom and it will make us a better people in life, and this will qualify us to be a watchman for those that are weak. I observed the moment of pain in my life was the best time ever in my lifetime. If I don’t see what I saw in my afflictions, I will not be able to reach others as God is allowing me by His grace. Human nature naturally are very selfish, as long as we are fine and all that is pertaining to us is okay who cares, that is exactly our attitude, many don’t admit it but check your actions. It take a lot of lesson's in obstacles of life to pinches us and put us in right relationship with God, and our eyes will be opened and we will see the need of god and His people around us. When we go through life hardship, the only place we can find comfort is in the arm of God Psalm27! Seeking His face and His hands we teach us some deep secret to a life of uniqueness. I notice when everything is going well for me, I don’t feel the urge for prayer to God or just to have relationship with him, but through challenges and loneliness I find my stand in Him! I believe so strongly if there are no problems in life, people will feel they don’t need God. If there is no problem in life, there will be no creativity. If there is no problem in life, people will not learn from experiences that will birth purpose. Word of encouragement: *Allow God to finish His work in you. *Ask Him what He want you to learn from these afflictions and how you can reach other people. *Don’t give up, don’t rush out! Wait for your moment of breakthrough. All is well - Heb 12:4-15 Sola Ogunseitan
