Getting your prayers answered: [What God has to say about it] Isaiah 66:2: . . .but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word. Psalms 66:18: If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: Matthew 9:29: Then touched He their eyes, saying, according to you faith be it unto you. John 9:31: Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth His will, him He heareth. John 15:10,16: If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love; even as I have kept My Father’s commandments, and abide in His love. Vs 16: Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you. Acts 14:9: The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice . . . Hebrews 10:36: For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. I Peter 3:7: Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. James 1:6-7: But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 4:2-3: Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your own lusts. James 5:14-15: Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. I John 3:22: And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. I John 5:14-15: and this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: and if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. © Sylvia Huffnagle
