The great Truth for those who are truly saved is that we are not the driving force in getting to know our Father, He is! Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Jesus ever lives to declare Who our Father is to us. We have been given the Holy Spirit to teach us all things. If it were left up to us with human abilities there would always be failure. But Jesus ever lives for us so that we are saved to the uttermost. And this is eternal life, that we might know our Father and our Lord, Jesus Christ. So the steps that we have to take are the Father within us. He knows that we need to know Him and He knows how to cause each of us to know Him. He is greater within us than he that is in the world.
