One cold night in Bethlehem, great grace appeared in the world. It had been predicted, but few remembered. Many never heard it was coming. But that didn't matter. A Savior was about to be born into a world that didn't know it needed saving. It had forgotten. It had forgotten all it had lost. It had even forgotten it was lost. "Unto us a child is born, Unto us a Son is given." (Isaiah 9:6) The grace that appeared in Bethlehem was a gift. The most precious gift ever given. He was given for you and I. That through the Son, we would be reconciled to the Father. Then we would again have access to the intimacy with God we had lost. God loves us and wanted us back. Giving His Son was the only way to retrieve us. Jesus was the price. God's priceless gift to us. Jesus. He is Christmas.
