About Christian Writings

Author : Ron Matteson

Christian Articles Resource Cross I, Ron E. Matteson, wish to be more personal. I am an eighty year old Christian layperson, and received water baptism at the age of eleven. At the age of forty-six, I received the Spirit of God, the Father, and after that date God, the Father, has used my body as a conduit for Spiritual power of discernment and deliverance of evil spirits, for healings, and for speaking in tongues. Up to the time of receiving the Spirit of God the Father, beginning with minimal power, I neither owned nor looked into a Holy Bible. In 1978, when I was forty nine years old, a priest gave me a copy of the Holy Bible in four translations, the 1972 parallel edition. The four translations being: the King James Version, 1611, KJV; the 1970 New American Standard Bible, NAS, based on the American Standard version of 1901; the 1970 New English Bible, NEB; and the 1966 Jerusalem Bible, JB, based on the King James Version, and the 1956 French translation. My Bible study training came from the Spirit of God the Father. All of my writings are taken from the Parallel Edition Holy Bible with attention centering on all four translations, being two catholic translations and two protestant translations. I have always attempted to equally address both catholic and protestant teachings.
Initially, I strongly felt that St. Paul’s words about salvation, through faith, were on the “heavy side,” but I soon realized that God, the Father’s, Spirit was behind St. Paul’s efforts, for many were converted to Christianity that would not have been if stricter measures for salvation had been preached. My next strong feeling was about Dr. Martin Luther, who in my belief stands with the greater among Christian scholars. Dr. Luther heavily follows St. Paul’s teaching on Salvation through faith, and had he not, we, at this present time, would more likely be attending a Roman Catholic type of church and possibly considering the churches leader as being God on earth. Once again the Spirit of God came to our aid.
During end times we must realistically view Biblical subject matter and not overlook words from the mouth of God the Father/God the Son. Remember that Jesus, as a Son, highly respects the Father, for Jesus made it known that He came to do His Father’s will, John 6. 38, and the words He, Jesus, spoke were from the mouth of His Father, John 12.49- 50. God the Father/God the Son may be considered by some Christians to be of equal status, but Jesus Christ, as a good Son, has always placed the Father in a position as being the greater, John 14. 28. Christ has made it known that God the Father’s Spiritual words are, and always will be, alive, and active, John 14. 10- 12. We must never use God’s Spirit to add to or take away words from the Father’s Spiritual words of mouth, Deuteronomy 4. 2. Do not use words like, “we must no longer worship the Father by use of God’s Spiritual law but we must now worship the Father through the Spirit of God.” It would be more appropriate to say, “The Spirit of God obeys the Father’s Spiritual law and speaks as the Father speaks, John 12. 49- 50; John 16. 12- 15. One must worship the Father through the Spirit since the Father is Spirit.” Jesus Christ/the Spirit of God will not do anything to cause division in the Godhead.
Several passages in the Holy Bible, both the old and the new testament, uphold the fact that words from the mouth of the Father/the Son favor judgment of one by considering one’s good deeds. All of us shall stand before the judgment seat of God the Father and God the Father, through His Son Jesus Christ, will judge us. Christ has made it known that He, Christ will follow the Father’s will, law, at judgment time, John 5. 28- 30; Acts 17. 30- 31; Romans 2. 4- 6, 12; James 2. 13; Revelation 2. 1- 3; 14. 7, 13; Ecclesiastes 12, 13- 14; Malachi 3. 5; Ezekiel 18. 30- 32; 44. 24.
One giant obstacle remains, for we are told that in the end times many will seek out a preacher who will teach words which some people desire to hear, regardless of what God desires them to hear, 2 Timothy 3. 1- 5, they wish to be told that the mercy of God will save them, regardless of their behavior. Should a preacher follow true words from the mouth, of God, the Father/God, the Son, being words which judge a person by their good deeds, or should the preacher follow the desires of some who want be told to not worry about their behavior. It is not likely that different types of listeners can be successfully pleased at the same time.
