God Heareth Not Sinners

The Bible has a different strategy than modern Christianity for converting the wicked. Today’s witnesses urge everyone to pray to God for help, yet the Bible clearly says: The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. Prov: 15:29, Jn: 9:31, Ps: 66:18-20
Modern thinking is that if someone is in trouble and asks God for help, God will or might eventually be able to gain a foothold in the person’s life and maybe even someday convert them to His way of thinking and doing things--win them over--save their soul--make them a part of the answer instead of them being a part of the problem.
God’s way of thinking on this subject, according to the Bible, is to proclaim Himself as the one who cares about people’s troubles and as one who can get a person out of trouble, but He makes it clear that the person must repent of their ways and behavior and turn to His ways and behavior in order to get His ear. Why?
It is because He wants to do away with a lot of heartache. It is because it is the best way. It is because He wants them to learn better and faster than the other way. It is because He wants them to stop being a part of the problem and to start being a part of the answer. He cannot be of much help to them or their victims if He is not their God.
He doesn’t fool around. Either you are in or you are out. His way or plan is to adopt the needy person, become their number one authority and then teach them and meet their needs.
Modern Christianity has a sneak up on them strategy--get them to go to God in their trouble and hope that they will learn to love Him. This is the same method that they use on their children and this is why most people’s children take terrible advantage of them and a lot of times they never come around to the parent or the benefactor’s way of thinking. This way is full of heartache for everyone. God’s way cuts to the heart of the matter and deals with it immediately just as any sane person would do with cancer because that is what sin is--a cancer that must be done away with.
If you still have doubts about God’s methods of dealing with sin and the sinner, study Jesus’ teachings and methods.
You may say, “Well He healed them all.” No, No, He was sent to the “lost” sheep of Israel. In other words, He was ministering to those already in covenant with God. True, they were off track, but they had already made that commitment that God is after.
Jesus came to bring God’s justice or judgment. Isa: 42:1-22 tells you what Jesus was doing. His people were robbed and He was intent on showing them that God meant what He said and He said what He meant, that’s why He spent so much of the time teaching them about trusting and obeying. For disobedience due to unbelief are the reason God’s people go astray. Heb: 3:8-19
Those who beseeched Jesus for ministry were willing even eager to get right with God. They already knew that God heareth not sinners. John the Baptist has already prepared the way.
