A Sense Of Humour Is Healthy

Author : Mark Crossley   Top Author

Christian Articles Resource Cross Did you hear about the man approaching the farmhouse, every few yards he noticed a sign reading “Beware of Dog” When he finally reached the house there was the dog, a little chihuahawa!. He said to the farmer “You mean that dog actually keeps people away”, The farmer smiled and said “Nope but the signs does!”.

What an amusing story, I hoped it made you smile. When was the last time you had a good giggle, its good to have fun more in your lives and keep that sparkle going in your life.

You only have to walk down the high street and look at what people get up to or to that matter wear and do. It can be anything just be varied and creative in what you do, even if its listening to cheesy music or corny comedians. Who cares as long as it makes you a little happier!.

Here are 8 things humour can bring to situations in life :

1. Helps Stress
2. Makes you likeable
3. Get you out of tricky situations
4. Make the worst of situations seem not to bad
5. Breaks the ice with others
6. Brings unity between people.
7. Strengthen relationships
8. Blesses others

Jesus said “He came to give us life, life in all its fullness”. Even Christians can have fun. In life there is always someone worse of than you so lighten up and start enjoying the life Jesus gave you and be thankful for it.

Based on Ecclesiastes 3 there is a time for everything and humour is certainly one of them, I posses it even if my puns are awful, some in life are just dull, well let them be but you do what you do best so keep smiling and praising God for the awesome life you have today and get around like minded people to enjoy it with!. God Bless you today!.
