“Courage”

By: Mark Crossley [Comments (1)]

Today to be courageous I believe that the way to see fruit is to deal with discouragement first. You see you don’t have to be a Mother Theresa or Martin Luther King to be looked upon as courageous but be inspired by them.

These people were just ordinary people doing extra ordinary things, it’s the small things that they incorporated into their lives that made them who they were.

The people who are always discouraged in life lack the following ingredients :

Constructive Counsel – Having a friend or counsellor that see’s you where you are and knows where you want to go is what will get you out of the area of discouragement you are facing what ever it is. Find a good friend and that could be half your problem.

Character – Kipping wrote “Courage is based on character and character does what’s right not what’s easy. It is controlled by values not moods, it looks for solutions not excuses”. If you want to have the courage to do something taking short cuts will only hinder you in the long term. The choice is yours.

Confidence – A verse in Matthew says “All these things will be added unto you”. Trust God and he will bring the resources and people for you to be a winner. Time is a key to see results but don’t give up at the first hurdle, keep pushing through the barriers. Jesus Says “All things are possible”. What a reassurance.

Commitment – “Life is an adventure, you learn from everything” If you endure failure, obstacles along the way this tests whether you will keep your mind on the goal or the giants try and stop you, be committed to the cause regardless.

Conviction “Every calling is great when greatly perused” You see many of life’s failures that are not courageous are people who don’t realize how close they are to success when you might give up. Be encouraged to peruse your God given dreams today.
